Sony has officially revealed the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for July 2026, and subscribers are getting one of the biggest first-person shooters in recent years alongside a cooperative RPG and a critically acclaimed indie action RPG.
Beginning July 7, PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra, and Premium members can claim all three games and keep them in their libraries as long as their subscriptions remain active.
This month’s lineup offers blockbuster multiplayer action, tactical co-op adventures, and a nostalgic single-player RPG.
PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for July 2026
Sony has confirmed the following games will be available from July 7 through August 3, 2026:
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (PS5, PS4)
- For the King II (PS5, PS4)
- CrossCode (PS5, PS4)
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III

The biggest addition this month is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, giving PlayStation Plus subscribers access to one of the franchise’s most content-rich entries.
The game continues the story of Task Force 141 as Captain Price and his team hunt down the infamous Vladimir Makarov.
While the campaign received mixed reviews at launch, the package offers more than just its single-player experience.
Multiplayer includes remastered versions of all 16 original maps from 2009’s Modern Warfare 2, along with new weapons, modes, and ongoing seasonal updates. T
The game also features the largest Zombies experience in franchise history, where squads tackle large-scale PvE objectives in an open-world environment.
With Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 expected later this year, adding Modern Warfare III to PlayStation Plus is a great opportunity for players to catch up before the next installment arrives.
For the King II

Fans of strategy RPGs have another excellent reason to log in this month.
For the King II builds upon the original game’s blend of turn-based combat, roguelite progression, and tabletop-inspired mechanics.
You will journey through the kingdom of Fahrul to overthrow the tyrannical Queen Rosomon, either solo or in four-player online co-op.
Every adventure is slightly different thanks to procedurally generated encounters, randomized loot, and challenging tactical battles.
Success depends on careful planning rather than fast reflexes, making it a refreshing change of pace from action-heavy releases.
If you enjoy games like tabletop RPGs or tactical dungeon crawlers, For the King II is easily one of the hidden gems in this month’s lineup.
CrossCode
Rounding out July’s selection is CrossCode, an indie RPG that has steadily built a reputation as one of the best retro-inspired games released in recent years.
Featuring gorgeous 16-bit-style visuals, fast-paced combat, clever environmental puzzles, and deep character progression, CrossCode is a classic RPG design with modern gameplay systems.
You control Lea, a silent protagonist exploring a futuristic MMO-like world filled with secrets, memorable characters, and challenging dungeons.
The combat requires mastering different elemental abilities. It also introduces new mechanics throughout the adventure.
For players who may have missed it at launch, CrossCode is easily one of the best indie experiences now available through PlayStation Plus.
When Can You Download the Games?
All three titles become available on July 7, 2026, and remain claimable until August 3, 2026.
Once claimed, they stay in your PlayStation library permanently, provided your PlayStation Plus subscription remains active.
Don’t Forget to Claim June’s Games
Before the July lineup goes live, subscribers should remember to claim June’s Monthly Games if they haven’t already. Those titles leave the service when the new lineup becomes available on July 7.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III provides hundreds of hours of multiplayer and Zombies content, For the King II offers a cooperative RPG experience, and CrossCode rounds out the month with an outstanding indie adventure.
If you’re looking for competitive online action, tactical co-op sessions with friends, or a lengthy single-player RPG, this month’s PlayStation Plus lineup has something worth downloading.
