Sony has officially revealed the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup for October 2026. Subscribers get three games to add to their libraries this month.
The October lineup includes F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896, and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2.
All three games will be available to PlayStation Plus members starting October 6, 2026, and can be claimed until November 2, 2026.
The monthly games lineup can vary by region, so you should check your local PlayStation Store when the games go live.

This month’s selection covers three very different genres, from Formula 1 racing to competitive extraction shooting and chaotic cooperative action.
F1 25
F1 25 is the biggest-name game in October’s lineup. The official game of the 2025 FIA Formula One World Championship features a range of single-player and multiplayer modes.
You can compete through Career Mode and My Team 2.0, with the latter allowing you to take control as the owner of your own Formula 1 team.
The game also features online competition, including a multiplayer mode in F1 World where you can race together as a squad against AI drivers.
The PS Plus version is available on PS5. For racing fans who have not picked up F1 25 yet, this gives them an opportunity to experience the game’s career and multiplayer offerings through their PlayStation Plus membership.
Hunt: Showdown 1896
The second game is Hunt: Showdown 1896, Crytek’s extraction shooter set in a dark supernatural world.
You take on monsters and rival Hunters while searching for powerful targets and attempting to extract with their bounty.
The central gameplay loop is PvE encounters with PvP combat, meaning other players can become just as dangerous as the creatures roaming the map.
Hunt: Showdown 1896 can be played solo or with a squad of up to three Hunters. Players must track down bosses, defeat them, secure their bounty, and then survive the journey to an extraction point while dealing with competing Hunters.
The game is being offered for PS5 through October’s PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup.
Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2
The third game is Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2, a voxel-style spin-off of the long-running Earth Defense Force series.
The game puts you in a blocky version of Earth that has come under attack from giant enemies.
You can rescue characters scattered around the world and build a team of four members, choosing characters and equipment based on your preferred playstyle.
One of the game’s major features is its cooperative multiplayer. Up to four players can play online together, while local split-screen supports two players.
The game also brings together characters and enemies from different parts of the Earth Defense Force franchise.
Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 will be available on PS5 and PS4.
When Can You Claim the October 2026 PS Plus Games?
The October 2026 PlayStation Plus Monthly Games will become available on Tuesday, October 6. They will remain available to claim until Monday, November 2.
Once claimed, the games can remain in your PlayStation Plus game library as long as you maintain an active PlayStation Plus subscription.
Last Chance to Claim September’s PS Plus Games
Before October’s games arrive, PlayStation Plus members still have time to claim the September lineup.
The September 2026 Monthly Games are Sniper Elite: Resistance, MLB The Show 26, Wobbly Life, and Chained Echoes. They are available to add to your library until October 5.
If you have not claimed them yet, you should do so before the October lineup replaces them.
PlayStation Plus October 2026 Bonus Content
Sony is also offering additional PlayStation Plus content during October as part of its Halloween-themed promotions.
Members can claim limited-time HorrorFest in-game packs for selected games.
Call of Duty: Warzone Horror Bundle, a Hunt: Showdown 1896 Starter Pack, and an Overwatch 2 Dragur Reinhardt + 5 Tier Skips Pack, will be available between October 1 and October 7.
PlayStation Plus members will also be able to claim limited-edition Spider-Man: Brand New Day avatars through Sony Pictures Core beginning October 6 in supported regions.
