Ethereal Monsters are some of the rarest and coolest creatures in My Singing Monsters. They have a ghostly, otherworldly vibe and live on their own special island, Ethereal Island. Unlike regular monsters, they are harder to breed and have very low breeding odds, so it might take several tries to get one.
How to Breed Ethereal Monsters
Ethereal Monsters are bred on the Natural Islands (like Plant, Cold, Air, etc.) using a four-element monster (like Entbrat or Deedge) and any three-element monster. However, the success rate is very low, around 1% to 10%, so be patient!
Ethereal Island & How to Use It
Once you breed an Ethereal monster on a Natural Island, you can teleport it to Ethereal Island when it reaches level 15. On Ethereal Island:
- They generate Shards, a special currency.
- They can be bred together to make Double or Triple Element Ethereal monsters.

This list includes all the Ethereal-type monsters. You can find other types at the bottom of the page.
Single Element Ethereal Monsters
The Single-element Ethereal Monsters are the first tier of Ethereal Monsters. They each represent a unique Ethereal element and are the gateway to breeding more powerful Ethereals on Ethereal Island.
You’ll need at least two Single-Element Ethereals on Ethereal Island to start breeding more complex Ethereal Monsters. Single-Element Ethereal Monsters are tough to get, but they’re worth it!

Ethereal Workshop Monsters
The Ethereal Workshop is a unique island introduced in the 4.1.0 update of My Singing Monsters on October 11, 2023.
Located within the cranium of the Ethereal Island Colossal, this island is home to Meeb critters and features new mechanics involving Triple-Element, Quad-Element, and Quint-Element Ethereal Monsters.
In the Ethereal Workshop, you need to use Meebs, which are curious new creatures, to synthesize these advanced Ethereal Monsters.
The island operates within the Pocket Dimension, with Shards as its primary currency.
Triple Element Ethereal Monsters
Triple-Element Ethereal Monsters are some of the rarest creatures in the game. They can only be bred on Ethereal Island by combining two Double-Element Ethereal Monsters.
These monsters are difficult to obtain due to their low breeding success rate, but they produce a lot of Shards and are a crucial step toward unlocking the legendary Quad-Element Ethereal Monsters.
Triple-element Magical monsters do not have Rare or Epic versions. They are island-exclusive and cannot be transferred between different islands.
