Improving the strength of your Artery Gear(AG) characters involves a multi-faceted approach that combines leveling up, enhancing equipment, and mastering skills. Here are all the ways to make your Artery Gear stronger quickly.
Levels
In Artery Gears, your AGs range from level 1 to 60, gaining new stats as they level up. You can upgrade all units up to an epic 6 stars and level 60 for maximum power!
It’s all about boosting those stats and unlocking their full potential. Engage in battles, quests, and challenges to earn experience points and level up your characters. Higher levels often mean increased stats like health, attack power, and defense.
Aside from battles and quests, there are Mousse units, which you can use to upgrade the level of your Artery Gear. These units can be obtained daily by the Capture Cat Orbs mission.
Ranks
Ranking up in Artery Gear is thrilling and elevates your characters to new heights. Here’s a breakdown of how it works
AGs are obtained through battles, quests, or recruiting events. Once you have a particular Artery Gear unlocked and you receive the same Artery Gear, it’s considered a duplicate or dupes. You can use these dupes to rank up that particular AG.
You can rank up AG to a maximum of 6 levels. Each level will provide you with stat bonuses to the AG, while some levels will also provide stat boosts to team members of that AG. A team stat boost happens based on AG’s star Level.
- 3 Star Artery Gear – Rank 3 and 6 will provide a team bonus
- 4 Star Artery Gear – Rank 2 and 5 will provide a team bonus
- 5 Star Artery Gear – Rank 1 and 4 will provide a team bonus
Aside from Dupes, there are also units called Bonbon XXL that can be used to rank up the AGs. There are two types of Bonbon XXL: one can be used to rank up 4-star AG, while the other can be used to rank up 5-star AG. It’s sort of a universal item, so you can use it on any AG. These units can only be obtained from supply shops in limited quantities.
Enhance/Star Up
The highest level your Artery Gear can reach depends on the stars it has. For example, if your AG is 3 stars, it can be upgraded up to level 30. To upgrade beyond level 30, you need to enhance(star up/limit break) your AG.
To enhance your AG, you will need units called Ahlfors. You will need the same stars on Ahlfors units as your Artery Gear. The number of Ahlfors units required also depends on Artery Gear’s star level.
For example, if you want to enhance a 3-star AG to a 4-star, then you will need 3 x 3-star Ahlfors units. If you want to take 4-star AG to 5-star, then you will need 4 4-star Ahlfors units.
You can also use AG Dupes to enhance your artery Gear. Now, as mentioned earlier, AG dupes can rank up also. So, if you use AG Dupes instead of Ahlfors units, your Artery Gear will enhance as well as rank up at the same time.
Ahlfors units can be obtained from Main story rewards, events, quests, and shops.
Technology
Technology provides a stat boost to AG’s stats as well as their skills. There are a total of 6 nodes(phases) in the technology tree. Each node becomes available every 10 Levels.
The first node will be unlocked by default, after that second will be available when your AG reaches level 20, the third on level 30, and so on.
To unlock the technology phase, you will need the Research keys of that AG type. For example, for the Thunder AG type, you will need research keys of Thunder.
Research keys also have three different rarities: Basic research key(green), intermediate research key(Blue), and Advanced research keys(purple). As you unlock higher phases of technology, you will need more advanced research keys.
How to get research keys?
These research keys can be obtained from Data Collection missions. Furthermore, you can also fuse them to get a higher rarity. 10 basic research keys can be combined to get 1 Intermediate research key, and 10 intermediate research keys can be combined to get 1 advanced research key.
Skills
As you might already know, every AG has three different skills. You can upgrade these skills once you unlock the 3rd node on the technology tree to enhance their effects.
To upgrade skills, you will need Decoder Chips. There are three different rarities for Decoder chips: Basic Decoder chip(Blue), Intermediate Decoder chip(Purple), and Advanced Decoder chip(Golden).
3-star AG will need a Basic Decoder chip, 4-star AG will need an Intermediate Decoder chip, and 5-star AG will need an advanced decoder chip to upgrade skills.
How to get Decoder Chips?
- Basic Decoder Chip – You can obtain this from normal story missions and Asura Event stages.
- Intermediate Decoder Chip – These can be obtained from Hard story missions and Event stages.
- Advance Decoder Chip – You can get these from weekly missions and purchase them from supply shops.
Gears
Last but not least, the Gear or Equipment can provide a significant boost to your AG’s stats.
You can wear six different types of gear on your AG, Weapon system, Power system, Shield system, Propulsion system, Aiming component, and Amplifier component.
Some gears will always provide a boost to one main stat, while some will give a boost to a random stat.
Stat Boost for Each Gear
- Weapon system – Attack(ATK)
- Power system – Health(HP)
- Shield system – Defense(DEF)
- Propulsion system – ATK, ATK%, HP, HP%, DEF, DEF%, Speed
- Aiming component – ATK, ATK%, HP, HP%, DEF, DEF%, Critical chance%, Critical chance%
- Amplifier component – ATK, ATK%, HP, HP%, DEF, DEF%, Status ACC%, Status RES%
Gears come in the following 5 different rarities, and based on that, they also receive additional stat boosts.
- Grey – No additional stats
- Green – 1 additional stat
- Blue – 2 additional stats
- Purple – 3 additional stats
- Golden – 4 additional stats
You can upgrade gears to boost their stats further, as well as fuse them to receive stats from another gear.
Gear Set Bonus
Gear also provides an additional bonus when you are wearing it in a set. Each gear is part of a set, like an Attack set, Defense set, HP set, and so on.
If you are wearing the required number of gear from the same set, it will grant you an additional stat boost. For example, if you are wearing 4 Gears of Attack gear, then it will boost AG’s attack by 35%.
Unique Equipment
Some Artery Gear also has Unique Equipment (UE), which can be unlocked by reaching the 5th node in the technology tree.
Unique Equipment will provide up to three different stat boosts and give either a new passive skill or an upgrade to the existing skill of the AG.
