Snapdragon 8 gen 1 Smartphone list, Benchmarks, and Comparison

Snapdragon 8 gen 1 is the latest and most advanced chipset from Qualcomm. It’s a 4nm chipset with a new ARMv9-A Instruction set and Adreno 730 GPU. It gives about 30% better Antutu scores in CPU performance and about 50% better 3D mark scores in GPU performance compared to snapdragon 888. This is the most powerful chipset of Qualcomm at the moment.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 has an octa-core CPU, First one is Cortex-X2 running at 3GHz. Additional three performance cores are Cortex-A710 at 2.5Ghz clock speed. The remaining four Cortex-A510 runs at 1.8GHz.

GPU

Adreno 730 is an integrated GPU in Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, which runs at 818MHz. It gives about 34% better graphical performance than Adreno 660.

AI

Speaking of AI, It has a 7th-gen neural engine and a 3rd Gen Qualcomm sensing hub. In comparison, the 7th gen neural engine provides 4X AI performance compared to the predecessor.

Memory and Storage

Snapdragon 8 Gen1 supports up to 24GB LPDDR5 RAM at 3200MHz memory frequency. The storage type is UFS 3.1
