Snapdragon 780G was revealed by Qualcomm in March 2021. It’s a 5nm chipset with Kryo 670 CPU with ARM Cortex A-78, which gives a 40% performance boost compared to last gen. This is s a solid chipset for mid-range gaming smartphones.

Below, there is a full list of Snapdragon 780G smartphones, a comparison with some similar chipset and benchmarks like AnTuTu and Geekbench.

Out of these smartphones only Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G is released with snapdragon 780g and others are rumored to have this chipset.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5g features a 6.55″ 90Hz AMOLED display, 64-megapixel triple camera, and 4,250 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The smartphone is priced at £334.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 vs Snapdragon 860 Full benchmark comparison


Snapdragon 780G has an octa-core CPU, First one is Cortex- A78 running at 2.4GHz. Additional three performance cores are also Cortex-A78 at 2.2Ghz clock speed. The remaining four Cortex-A55 runs at 1.9GHz.


Adreno 642 is integrated GPU in Snapdragon 780g, which runs at 490MHz. It gives about 50% better performance than Adreno 620.


Speaking of AI, It has 6th gen Hexagon 770 with 12 TOPs and 2x performance improvements over the predecessor.

Memory and Storage

Snapdragon 780g supports up to 12GB LPDDR4X at 2133 MHz memory frequency. The storage type is UFS 3.0


The max display resolution 3360×1600 on this chipset. It supports 192-megapixel resolution on a single camera and two 20-megapixel cameras.


Snapdragon 780g has X53 5G modem with 1200mbps download and 210mbps upload speed. It also supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2
