All Twisteds in Dandy’s World

If you’ve spent even five minutes in Dandy’s World, you already know one thing: Twisteds are the real problem. These corrupted mascots are what turn a chill run into instant panic. This guide breaks down what Twisteds are, how they behave, and how to deal with them without throwing your run.

What Are Twisteds?

Twisteds are hostile, corrupted versions of friendly characters in Dandy’s World. Lore-wise, they’re victims of whatever messed-up force warped the world. Gameplay-wise, they’re roaming threats designed to drain your resources, block objectives, and straight-up end runs if you mess up.

They spawn as you progress through floors and become more aggressive and punishing the deeper you go.

How Twisteds Behave?

Twisteds aren’t just jump-scare enemies. Each one follows specific patterns. They patrol hallways and rooms, sometimes randomly, sometimes with intent. Most react to movement, proximity, or sound. Some Twisteds chase immediately, others stalk and corner you. Later floors introduce faster reaction times and tighter detection

Knowing how a Twisted moves is very important. In the latter part of the guide, we have included a list of all Twisted, along with their behaviour details and stats.

Types of Twisteds

Twisteds generally fall into a few broad behavior categories. You’ll learn these fast or the game will teach you the hard way.

Aggressive Twisteds

These are the runners. Once they spot you, they commit. The best strategy is breaking line of sight, using corners, and not panicking.

Patrol-Based Twisteds

They move on fixed or semi-fixed paths. Timing is everything here, wait, watch, move.

Trap or Pressure Twisteds

These don’t always chase but force bad decisions, like blocking key routes or guarding objectives.

As you go deeper, the game starts mixing these types, which is where runs get difficult.
