Trinkets are passive boost items in Dandy’s World that you equip before or during a run. They don’t require activation; they just sit there and quietly make your life easier (or sometimes riskier). Depending on the trinket, you might get better movement, stronger survivability, faster progress, or some spicy situational advantage.

They are the backbone of your build. A good trinket combo can hard-carry even if RNG isn’t feeling generous.

How Trinkets Work

Once equipped, trinkets apply their effects automatically. Some are always active, while others only trigger under specific conditions like taking damage, being chased, or interacting with objects.

You usually have limited slots, so stacking random trinkets isn’t the move. Synergy matters a lot.

Types of Trinkets

Extraction – These boost how fast you interact with machines or finish them
Stealth – These affect how easily Twisteds detect you (some lower your stealth, others raise it)
Stamina – These affect how much stamina you have and how fast it regenerates
Movement Speed – These modify your walk/run speed, helpful for kiting and positioning
Skill Check – These improve your performance on skill checks
Other – These don’t directly fit the stat groups above, but still influence gameplay in big ways

How to Get Trinkets

You can obtain trinkets through normal gameplay progression. This usually includes completing runs, unlocking rewards, and interacting with in-game systems that grant items. Some trinkets appear more frequently than others, while certain ones seem genuinely rare for a reason.

Note: Just because a trinket is rare doesn’t mean it fits your playstyle.

How to Equip Trinkets

Before starting a run, you’ll be able to choose which trinkets to bring with you. Once locked in, your build defines how you play that round. Some modes may also allow you to find or swap trinkets mid-run, which is where quick decision-making is crucial. Always read the effect. Always.
