In World of Warships, Oregon is a Tier X American premium battleship built around hard-hitting main guns, solid survivability, and dependable long-range pressure. It follows the traditional U.S. battleship identity, strong armor, powerful AP salvos, and steady battlefield control for anchoring a flank and punishing positioning mistakes.

How to Obtain Oregon
The Oregon in World of Warships was introduced as part of the Experimental Ships program during Update 14.2. Unlike standard premium ships that are permanently available in the Armory or sold directly for Doubloons, Oregon was released as time-limited experimental content.
To access Oregon during its availability window, players first had to unlock the Experimental Ships feature by meeting specific in-game requirements, such as completing missions or spending Free XP. Once access is granted, Oregon could be earned by progressing through dedicated mission chains tied to the experimental system. These missions awarded the necessary components or currency required to unlock the ship.
Because Oregon is categorized as an experimental vessel, it was not designed to remain permanently obtainable. After the designated update cycle ends, the ship will be removed from active acquisition.
At present, it cannot be obtained through normal in-game methods unless the Experimental Ships program returns or Wargaming reintroduces it in a future event.

Tips to Play Oregon
1. Control a Flank
Position yourself where you can apply consistent pressure without being crossfired. Oregon performs best when anchoring a side rather than pushing recklessly into the center.
2. Angle Properly
Your armor works best when angled. Avoid showing broadside to enemy battleships, as you can be punished hard despite strong plating.
3. Prioritize Broadside Targets
American battleship AP shells are devastating. Look for cruisers or battleships exposing their sides and punish them immediately.
4. Manage Your Repair Party
Do not panic; heal small damage. Save Repair Party charges for meaningful HP recovery after heavy exchanges.
5. Stay Aware of Crossfires
Even tanky ships melt under multiple firing angles. Keep map awareness high and reposition before being trapped.
6. Support, Don’t Solo Push
Oregon is powerful but not invincible. Push with allied cruisers or destroyers to avoid being focused by the entire enemy team.
