Marvel Studios is set to release more movies as the studio team has many things planned out. Marvel is far from slowing down. With Phases Five and Six rolling out, we have plenty to look forward to across both big screens and streaming platforms. As Marvel fans, we are really excited about the upcoming movies and TV series. Below you will find a list of Marvel’s upcoming movies that will be released soon.
Marvel Zombies

Release Date: 24 September 2025
Marvel Zombies is basically Marvel going full horror mode with the “what if our beloved superheroes turned into flesh-eating zombies? It originally started as a five-issue limited series in 2005, written by Robert Kirkman (yep, the same dude behind The Walking Dead) and illustrated by Sean Phillips.
It’s set in an alternate Marvel Universe (Earth-2149) where a mysterious infection spreads and turns all the heroes (and villains) into zombies. Unlike normal zombies, they keep their intelligence, memories, and even powers, but they’re consumed by an unstoppable hunger for flesh.
So you’ve got zombie versions of Spider-Man, Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Wolverine, and even Thanos tearing through the world. It’s dark, gory, and very different from your usual MCU.
Wonder Man

Release Date: December 2025
The upcoming Wonder Man series is dropping on Disney+ in December 2025. It’s an 8-episode miniseries that mixes superhero action with comedy, so expect something a little different from the usual MCU formula.
Yahya Abdul-Mateen II is playing Simon Williams, aka Wonder Man. The cast also includes Ben Kingsley as Trevor Slattery, Demetrius Grosse as Grim Reaper, and Ed Harris as Simon’s agent. Arian Moayed returns as the DoDC agent Cleary, tying the show into the wider MCU.
The showrunner is Andrew Guest, with Destin Daniel Cretton (from Shang-Chi) also producing and directing some episodes. Other directors include Stella Meghie, James Ponsoldt, and Tiffany Johnson.
Story-wise, Simon Williams isn’t just a hero—he’s also an actor trying to make it in Hollywood. The series will lean into that “superhero meets showbiz” vibe, with plenty of humor and meta moments.
Marvel said it’s going to feel unique compared to past MCU projects. With characters like Trevor Slattery back and Damage Control in the mix, it could blend comedy, action, and some deep MCU connections.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day

Release Date: 31 July 2026
The movie Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to release on July 31, 2026. It’s the fourth solo Tom Holland Spider-Man film in the MCU, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, with writers Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers returning.
The cast includes Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Jacob Batalon, alongside newcomers like Sadie Sink and Tramell Tillman. Jon Bernthal is also rumored to appear as The Punisher, which would be huge for the street-level vibe.
Marvel is pitching the film as a “rebirth” for Spidey. After the multiverse chaos in No Way Home, this one goes back to a more grounded, street-level Spider-Man story.
The title is inspired by the 2008 comic era “Brand New Day”, which reset Peter Parker’s life after One More Day. In comics, his marriage to Mary Jane ended, Harry Osborn returned, and villains like Mister Negative were introduced.
The MCU film likely won’t copy the comics exactly, but the theme of “starting fresh” matches Peter’s situation now; no one remembers he’s Spider-Man, and he’s rebuilding his life from scratch.
Avengers: Doomsday

Release Date: 18 December 2026
The movie is part of the MCU Phase 6 and releases on December 18, 2026. It was delayed from the original May slot. It’s directed by the Russo Brothers, with writing from Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron.
The film brings together heroes from across the MCU, plus the Fantastic Four and X-Men. That means Thor, Sam Wilson’s Captain America, Sue Storm, The Thing, Shuri, Ant-Man, and even Magneto and Professor X are involved.
The wildest twist is Robert Downey Jr. returning—but as Doctor Doom, not Tony Stark. Story-wise, it’s set 14 months after Thunderbolts and shows the Avengers uniting with other teams to take on Doom as the big threat.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2
Release Date: 2026
Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again is set to drop on Disney+ in March 2026. Unlike Season 1’s nine episodes, this one will run for eight episodes. Filming took place in New York between February and July 2025.
Charlie Cox is back as Matt Murdock, with Vincent D’Onofrio returning as Wilson Fisk, now the mayor of New York. The cast also includes Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson as Karen and Foggy, plus Wilson Bethel reprising his role as Bullseye.
A big addition is Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, making her official MCU debut. Other confirmed actors are Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk, Genneya Walton as BB Urich, and new faces like Lili Taylor and Matthew Lillard.
Story-wise, the season will explore the fallout of Fisk’s rise to political power. With the city under strict control and vigilantes being hunted, Matt has to rally allies to resist the system. It’s promised to be darker, with heavier emotional stakes and more brutal action sequences.
The Punisher Special

Release Date: 2026
Jon Bernthal is coming back as Frank Castle in a Marvel Studios Special Presentation on Disney+. He’s not just acting; he’s co-writing the special with Reinaldo Marcus Green, who’ll also direct.
Marvel describes it as a one-off story, kind of like Werewolf by Night and Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special. It’s anticipated to be Gritty, emotional, and intense. It’ll likely lean into the darker side of the MCU.
Filming was wrapped up in early August 2025 in New York City. Principal photography started around mid-July. It’s set to release in 2026, likely around the same time as Daredevil: Born Again Season 2.
Vision Quest

Release Date: 2026
The Vision Quest is a spinoff from WandaVision, focusing on Paul Bettany’s character after the events of that show. It’s planned to be released on Disney+ in 2026 as part of Phase Six.
The showrunner is Terry Matalas, known for Star Trek: Picard. Bettany returns as White Vision, exploring his purpose and identity now that his memories have been restored. The series will run for eight episodes. Filming started in 2025, with production taking place in locations like Pinewood Studios in London.
Supporting cast includes Faran Tahir, reprising his role as Raza from Iron Man, and James Spader, returning as the voice of Ultron. Their involvement hints at a more tech-driven, AI-themed conflict.
The story is expected to dive deep into questions of humanity, memory, and existence, while also connecting Vision’s arc back into the broader MCU.
Armor Wars
Release Date: unknown
Armor Wars is originally a classic Iron Man comic storyline (Iron Man #225-232, published in 1987-88) by David Michelinie & Bob Layton. In the comics, Tony Stark finds out that a bunch of his tech has been stolen, sold to other villains/heroes, and is being misused. He then tries to track them down and disable all the armor that’s using his stolen tech.
Marvel first announced Armor Wars back in 2020 as a Disney+ series with Don Cheadle returning as War Machine (Rhodey). Later, around 2022, they said they’d convert it from a series into a full feature film instead.
The MCU version seems likely to adapt the core comic idea of Stark’s tech ending up in the wrong hands, and Rhodey having to clean up the mess. There’s talk about Justin Hammer returning, and lots of armored suits/weapons/legacy tech being involved. It’ll probably deal with the legacy of Tony Stark, what happens when advanced tech proliferates, and how Rhodey handles that responsibility.
As of now, there’s no confirmed release date. The project is reportedly in development limbo. Marvel is rewriting parts of the script (especially in reaction to backlash over Secret Invasion), and it’s believed the release (if it happens) will be after Avengers: Secret Wars. Some rumors suggest 2026 or later.
Blade

Release Date: unknown
Blade, the favorite vampire-hunting character, will return to the screens in 2025. Besides knowing Mahershala Ali will be playing Blade, we do not know anything else about the upcoming Blade, which makes it an exciting movie to wait for.
The production of Blade was put on hold for a while as Ali was not content with the script. The release date changed from 2023 to 2025.
The writers of this movie are Stacy Osei-Kuffour, Gene Colan, and Michael Green, while the director is Yann Demange. Other characters include Mia Goth, Delroy Lindo, Aaron Pierre, and Milan Ray, among others.
Avengers 5

Release Date: May 1, 2026
Avengers 5, initially named Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, was announced in July 2022. Initially, the director was Destin Daniel Cretton, who exited in November 2023, and Jeff Loveness was the writer, who Micheal Waldron later replaced.
In December 2023, Jonathan Majors got fired from Kang the Conqueror role, and the initial filming plans in the United Kingdom in early 2024 were delayed. Avenger 5 characters still need to be confirmed, and the storyline still needs to be clarified regarding the many changes made in the Avenger film.
Avengers: Secret Wars

Release Date: May 7, 2027
Avengers: Secret Wars will be released a year after Avengers 5, and it will likely be the end of phase six and the entire multiverse history. Little is known about the storyline of Secret Wars as Beyonder transports Earth’s powerful heroes and villains to fight in a world created only for battles.
There is a possibility that Secret Wars will feature all the characters, including the Avengers, X-Men, and Fantastic Four, working together. Michael Waldron will be the screenplay writer.
