One of the easiest exploration trophies in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is Davy Jones’ Locker, but the game gives you almost no clues about where to find it.
The trophy description simply asks you to “Swim to the lowest point on the map,” leaving many players wondering exactly where to go.
Fortunately, unlocking this Bronze trophy only takes a few minutes once you’ve reached the required point in the story. Here’s everything you need to know.
Davy Jones’ Locker Trophy Requirement

Unlike many other trophies in Black Flag Resynced, this one doesn’t involve combat, collectibles, or lengthy side quests.
Instead, you’ll need to visit a specific underwater location hidden deep beneath the Caribbean Sea.
First, Unlock the Diving Bell
Before you can earn the trophy, you’ll need access to the Diving Bell.
The Diving Bell is unlocked naturally as you progress through the main story.
It allows Edward Kenway to explore underwater shipwrecks and deep-sea locations.
Without it, you won’t be able to reach the required depth needed for the trophy.
If you haven’t unlocked underwater exploration yet, continue playing the campaign until the Diving Bell becomes available.
Where to Find the Lowest Point on the Map
Once you have the Diving Bell, sail to The Black Trench (Coordinates: 184, 425), an underwater diving location found south of Havana in the Castillo da Jagua Sea.
After beginning the dive, swim deeper into the trench while heading toward the western side of the area. Continue descending until you can no longer go any lower.
Near the western end of the trench, you’ll discover a wrecked Diving Bell resting on the ocean floor.
As soon as you swim close to the wreck, the Davy Jones’ Locker trophy will unlock automatically.
Tips for Unlocking the Trophy
The Black Trench doesn’t have many air-refill barrels compared to other underwater areas, so it’s best to head straight to the deepest point rather than explore every corner.
If you run out of oxygen before reaching the wreck, simply restart the dive and make a more direct route.
Once you know where you’re going, the trophy can usually be earned in under two minutes.
You don’t need to collect any treasure chests, defeat enemies, or complete additional objectives. Simply reaching the deepest point is enough.
Is the Davy Jones’ Locker Trophy Missable?
No. The trophy is not missable, and you can return to The Black Trench at any point after unlocking the Diving Bell.
Black Flag Resynced allows free exploration after progressing through the story, so you can earn this trophy whenever you’re ready.
