Today Redmi launched two new smartphone smartphones, Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max trough an online event. both smartphones have unbelievable specs and features at very little price.

Pro and Pro Max both have 6.67 inches IPS LCD screens. which supports a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. The display is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. backside and cameras are also protected with the same Gorilla Glass 5.

Following the latest trend, both smartphones have a quad camera setup. Redmi Note 9 Pro Max has a 64 Mega-Pixel(f/1.9) primary camera along with an 8 MP(f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle camera. it also has 5 MP macro and 2 MP depth sensor.
Redmi Note 9 Pro has a 48 MP(f/1.8) primary camera with an 8 MP ultra-wide camera(f/2.2). it has the same 5 macro camera along with 2 MP depth sensor.
back camera supports RAW photography, 4K video recording and Slow motion at 120 fps on 1080p.

For the selfie lovers, Note 9 Pro Max has 32 MP and Note 9 Pro has 16 MP in-display single front camera. it also support slow motion video recording at 120 fps enabling slow-mo selfie videos.
Performance
Note 9 Pro Max, as well as Note 9 Pro, has the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G(GPU Adreno 618). Snapdragon 720G is significantly better than Snapdragon 730. it has a dedicated AI engine for improving performance.
Another key change done in Note 9 series is that now it support the NavIC system. it’s a navigation system developed by ISRO. it will defiantly provide better navigation to Indian users. NavIC is very precise and faster in the Indian regions compare to any other navigation system.
Design
Note 9 series continues to follow the company’s most successful aura design. Redmi Note 9 Pro and Pro Max come in three colors Interstellar Black, Glacier White, Aurora Blue.
the company has still continued a 3.5 mm audio jack and IR blaster on both devices. 2+1 Simcard slot is also available, meaning you can you two sim cards and a memory card together.
the fingerprint scanner is now moved to the side of the phone. smartphones are protracted with P2i Splash-proof technology.
the square-shaped back camera is located in the middle of the top side. the front camera loses the waterdrop design and now it’s punch-hole design.
Battery
Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max has a whooping 5020 mAh battery. pro support 18W fast charging and Pro Max supports up to 33W fast charging. another thing that needs to be mentioned here is that the charger comes in the box.

Note 9 Pro has 2 variants, 4GB+64GB version is priced at ₹12,999 and 6GB+128GB version is priced at ₹15,999.
Note 9 Pro Max comes in 3 different variants. 6GB+64GB is available for for ₹14,999, 6GB+128GB for ₹16,999 and 8GB+128GB for ₹18,999.
Note 9 Pro will be available from 17th March, Note 9 Pro Max will start selling a little later on 25th March. they also have some special launch offer on 16th March. so keep an eye out for that if you planning on buying these smartphones.
