
2020 was a terrible year, and we missed out on so many movies because of the pandemic. But worry not 2021 is here and we have tons of exciting movies lined up.

1. The Little Things

The Little Things, An upcoming crime thriller by John Lee Hancock. The movie has three Oscar winner performers, Denzel Washington along with Rami Malek, and Jared Leto. It’s a story about “Deputy Deke” who is hunting down the serial killer in Los Angeles with “Detective Bexter”. While working on the case Bexter finds out disturbing secrets about Deke from the past leaving him in a dilemma.
2. Land

The lead actress from the world’s one of the famous movies Forrest Gump, Robin Wright is back in the role of a brave woman trying to make a living off-grid in Wyoming. This is also Robin’s first movie as a director. It’s a story of a woman trying to relive her life in the wilderness after some tragic event.
3. The Mauritanian

Love thriller movies? This is the one to wait for. Mohamedou Ould Slahi(Tahar Rahim), A U.S military detainee is held prisoner without any charges by the government. He finally gets help from defense attorney Nancy Hollander (Jodie Foster) and her associate Teri Duncan (Shailene Woodley). Meanwhile, Lt. Colonel, Stu Couch (Benedict Cumberbatch) tries to make sure Mohamedou gets the death penalty for his crimes. The Mauritanian is based on a true story.
4. Tom and Jerry

Our favorite cartoon Tom and Jerry is back in form of a movie. The world’s most beloved frenemies will be ready to make us laugh again while revealing how they became enemies in the first place. Jerry moves to a new york hotel where the big wedding is about to take a place. The event planner Kayla(Chloe Grace Moretz) tries to get rid of him by hiring Tom. We all can guess what’s about to happen next.
5. Raya and the Last Dragon

Disney’s latest and hopefully greatest, Raya and the Last Dragon is the story about a female lone warrior named Raya. She tries to defend her homeland, Kumandra by tracking down the last Dragon to fight the evil enemy. It looks very similar to Disney’s Moana, which was a pretty big hit.
6. The King’s Man

Release Date: 12, March 2021
The third installment in the Kingsman film series is the pre-qual explaining origins of the agency. In the king’s man, some of the biggest criminal masterminds plot a war while one man tries to stop them with his apprentice.
7. No Time to Die

Release Date: 2, April 2021
The world’s most famous and deadliest agent, 007 will be back. James Bond (Daniel Craig) finally gets retirement until he gets a call from CIA friend Felix Leiter(Jeffrey Wright) for help. Then he is off on the adventure of fighting a mysterious villain named Safin(Rami Malek).
8. Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway

Releasing on the same day as No Time to die, here is another animated movie, Peter Rabbit 2. it’s a squeal of the original peter rabbit 2(2018). In the sequel, Peter leaves the garden and goes off on an adventure once again, and ends up getting in big trouble. Additionally, there is also gonna be a new character named, Barnabas in the movie.
9. Mortal Kombat

Do you enjoy the action, violence, and blood-filled video game series Mortal Kombat? Well, here is the movie based on it, featuring some of the popular characters from the game like Sonya Blade, Scorpion, Raiden, Sub-zero, and more. it will be a reboot film instead of the Mortal Kombat: Annihilation (1997) sequel.

Who doesn’t like these cute little yellow troublemaker Minions? We will see them again in a prequel of Minions (2015). The movie will explain the reason behind Gru’s dream of becoming the world’s greatest supervillain.

Tom Cruise-starred Top Gun Maverick is releasing on the same day as a minion. Oscar-winner actress Jennifer Connelly is also in the movie. It’s a story about a US Navy’s top aviator named Maverick with years of experience. Now he needs to teach new graduates while confronting his past.

Here is another video game-based movie, uncharted. It’s a pre-qual to the video game series. Tom Holland is gonna be main the character as Nathan Drake alongside Mark Wahlberg as Victor Sullivan and Sophia Ali as Chloe Frazer.

Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock and Emily blunt is coming together in the adventure movie, Jungle Cruise. It looks awfully lot like Jumanji. A riverboat captain, Frank goes to a dangerous Jungle to find the Tree of life with healing powers. He takes a scientist named Dr. Lily Houghton and his friend with him. They race up against an evil german expedition to the Tree of Life.
20. The Suicide Squad

The badass gang of dc villains will be reunited in the Suicide Squad 2021. It’s gonna be a reboot instead of the sequel. We can’t wait to see Margot Robbie playing Harley Quinn once again. As of now, there aren’t any details out on the plot.
21. Death on the Nile

We will be seeing Wonder Woman Gal Gadot in the crime mystery movie, Death on the Nile. A young heiress gets murdered while on vacation on the Nile, Hercule Poirot(Kenneth Branagh) investigates the murder. The movie is based on a novel by Agatha Christie. After Murder on Orient express, this is gonna be the second Crime Mystery directed by Kenneth Branagh.
22. The Boss Baby: Family Business

The Cute baby businessman is back. However, in the 2021 sequel, he is all grown up. He and his Templeton brother Tim has grown apart. The new boss baby tries to bring them back together by suggesting a new family business.

Hollywood’s Legendary Oscar-winner actress Angelina Jolie along with Richard Madden, Salma Hayek, and Kit Harington in Marvel movies. Oh yes, please! They will be playing immortals who shaped the history of the earth. It’s based on Marvel’s comics Eternals.
25. Mission: Impossible 7

After Top Gun: Maverick, Tom Cruise will be back again this year on the successful long-running movie series, Mission Impossible. Ethan Hunt will be once again saving the world by doing impossible tasks. We hope it’s filled with thrill and action just like previous movies in the series.

One of the most popular sci-fi series, The Matrix is releasing at the end of the year with John Wick aka Keanu Reeves starring as Neo.
