
After Google’s Stadia and Nvidia’s Geforce Now, Amazon planning on launching its own cloud gaming service called “Project Tempo”.
Rumors about Amazon’s Cloud Gaming service was around here for a while. Now during the interview with the New York Times, Amazon has confirmed that they are working on a cloud gaming service named Project Tempo.
The company’s main intention here is to bring more people into the Amazon ecosystem. Project Tempo could be launching this year if the corona outbreak comes under control in time.
The video game industry is raising every day and Amazon sure is investing big in video games. Amazon Game Studios is also developing games called Crucible and New World.
New World is already available for pre-order and you can sign up also for beta-version. Crucible is a Sci-fi based MMO(massively multiplayer online) game.
Both games will be launching next month, but could be delayed because of the massive corona virus spread.
According to the NYT interview, they are also working on Lord of the Rings world based MMO game. It will be developed in its own Video game engine, Amazon Lumberyard.
As you might already know, Amazon also owns a video game streaming service, Twitch. They are also working on some casual games that viewers can play along with the streamer.
Currently, we don’t have much information about Project Tempo, like the exact release date and pricing. But we will keep you updated as soon as we find out.
