CPU was tested using amd TRX40 ready, Asus ROG Zenith II Extream. System used total of 262144 MB DDR4 SDRAM.

3990x managed to score 1208 points on a single core. we all know that this CPU is all about multi-core performance. CPU reached up to the score of 22,045 points in a multi-core benchmark. those 64-cores really started showing their strength here.

A warrior from Blue team, intel Xeon W-3175X is still ahead of Amd ryzen threadripper 3990x with 27,242 points on multi-core. Another 64-core CPU from the series, ryzen threadripper 3970x also has a better score of 26,852 points.

Now the thing we need to understand is that this is just an early benchmark. The multi-core benchmark score for 3990x is most likely to go up in the near future.
