AMD Ryzen 9 3900X vs Intel 10th Gen Core i9-10900k Benchmarks

Intel’s new 10th generation Core i9-10900k Desktop CPU is coming soon. Recently a leak from Dell commercial confirmed that Intel’s 10th-gen desktop processors might hit the market sooner than we expected.

Now we have another benchmark leak for i9-10900K. naturally AMD Ryzen 9 3900x is gonna be main competitor of i9-10900k.

Before we take a look at the benchmark, keep in mind that this is the pre-release benchmark of the CPU. so it could very well turn out to be just a rumor.

i9-10900k has 10 cores/20 threads and run at 3.7GHz at the base clock and goes up to 5.3GHz with the boost clock. actual boost speed is 5.1GHz, overclocked in this benchmark.

CPU is named i9-10900KF, “F” in the end indicates unlocked CPU. unlocked CPU has better capabilities for overclocking. the CPU managed to score 12412 points on time spy.

this benchmark was uploaded by a Twitter user named rogame. the same user also uploaded benchmark results for Ryzen 9 3900x while ago. so let’s see how they compare with each other.

AMD Rayzen 9 3900X has 12 cores/24 threads, running at 3.8GHz base clock and 4.6GHz boost clock. 3900x managed to score 13650 points.

It seems like 3900x is the winner here but, there one more twist here. intel’s benchmark was done with only 8GB of RAM. when rogame did another benchmark with 4x16GB DDR4 RAM @ 2666Mhz, 10900K managed to reach up to the score of 13142 points.

At the moment seems like both CPUs are competing head to head with each other. for actual result we still need to wait for the official release of the intel’s 10th gen desktop CPUs.
