
Vivo has officially announced their new smartphones, Vivo X60 and Vivo X60 Pro. Currently, both smartphones are only available in China. The Vivo X60 series has some significant improvements over the last Vivo X50 series.
Vivo X60 Specs
The Vivo X60 is rocking Samsung’s new Exynos 1080 chipset with Massive 12GB RAM and super fast 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
Speaking of the camera, Vivo X60 has a triple camera setup with 48MP(F/1.79) being the main snapper plus two additional 13MP(F/2.2) wide-angle and 13MP portrait lens. For selfies, it has a 32MP(F/2.45) front camera with a punch-hole design in the center.
Vivo X60 has a 6.56 inch FHD+ AMOLED display with HDR10+ and 120HZ refresh rate. It will be running on Android 11 and the company’s new OriginOS. The smartphone is equipped with a 4,300 mAh battery which supports a 33W fast charge.
Vivo X60 Pro Specs
Vivo X60 Pro is almost similar to little brother. It has the same Samsung Exynos 1080 with a 6.56-inch display and 12GB RAM+256GB ROM. However, it does have a little smaller battery, 4,200mAh.
The main difference is the camera. The Vivo X60 Pro has a quad-camera setup. It has a 48MP(F/1.48) main sensor with 13MP ultra-wide, 13MP portrait, and brand new 8MP periscope lens. The periscope lens provides a 5x optical zoom and 60x hybrid zoom. The front camera is the same as the Vivo X60.
Price
Vivo X60 has three variants. The 8GB/128GB is priced at CNY 3,498($539/Rs. 38,999/€439), 8GB/128GB is priced at CNY 3,798($589/Rs. 42,999/€479). Lastly 12GB/256GB variants is available for CNY 3,998($619/Rs. 44,999/€499).
The Pro has only one option, 12GB/256GB which is priced at CNY 4,498($689/Rs. 50,999/€569).
The Vivo X60 Pro is available in Grey and Purple. Vivo X60 has an additional white color.
Release Date
Both smartphones are already available for pre-order in China. Actual shipping will begin on 8 January. As of now, there are no details about the global release of the Vivo X60 series. Additionally, there is going to be one more version in the series. The Vivo X60 Pro Plus with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset is yet to unveil.
