Samsung Exynos 1080 SoC Beats Snapdragon 865+ in AnTuTu Benchmark

A new mobile chipset from Samsung, Exynos 1080 is coming soon. It’s a follow-up chipset of Exynos 980 and Dr. Yimao Cai from the research department has revealed few details about the processor before bthe official release.

Samsung Exynos 1080 is a 5nm chipset with Cortex-A78 cores. It will be using the Mali-G78 GPU.

According to Ice Universe, Vivo X60 could be the first smartphone to use Samsung’s new chipset.

Now coming to the AnTuTu Benchmark, Dr. Yimao Cai has said that Exynos 1080 SoC has already scored a 650000+ score in AnTuTu Benchmark. He even added that it will go even further after the optimization.

ROG phone 3 is the current champion on the AnTuTu Benchmark leaderboard. It’s equipped with Snapdragon 865+ and has scored 615289 in the benchmark.

So, it’s very clear that the Exynos 1080 is gonna be a new champion in performance. But we are not sure how long it will last as Snapdragon surely will be looking to top the leaderboard again.

As of now, we don’t have any other information regarding the chipset’s specs and release date but we will update you as soon as we find out.
