We are very close to the official release of the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. There is no official confirmation on a release date but it’s believed to happen at the end of January.
There have been already tons of rumors and leaks about the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro. So here are every specs that have been revealed to us so far.
First up, both smartphones will be rocking Qualcomm’s latest and greatest 5nm chipset, Snapdragon 888. To power that they have a 4,500 mAh battery with 65W flash charging.
As per recent leaks, the OnePlus 9 will have 6.55 inches FHD+ display. The OnePlus 9 Pro will have a slightly bigger 6.78-inch QHD+ curved display. Both of them will support 120Hz.
In the past, OnePlus has been criticized many times for not providing wireless charge and certified dust and water-resistant. This time they will be taking extra care of that. The Pro will have an IP68 rating. Little brother won’t have any IP rating but it will be splash-proof.
Speaking of wireless charging, the Pro will support 45W as well as reverse charging. We are not sure but the OnePlus 9 will also support wireless charging.
Additionally, there have been some leaks about the design of these smartphones. OnePlus 9 will be 8mm and the OnePlus 9 Pro will be 8.5mm thick. Both smartphones will weigh less than 200 grams. That’s almost the same as the OnePlus 8 series.
